Online Project Documentation “Kiwa Project Inclusive Picnic”
KIWA Project aims to create platforms for creation and dialogue through observing the relationships between urban images and “constructed nature” around the world from the Japanese perspective of “Fudo (climate)”. Project members consist of professionals from art and scientific fields from twenties to seventies, who have been engaging in repeated dialogues and co-creations.The project plans various kinds of programs containing audio-visual performances, workshops, and public talks at Soto Zen Tochoji Temple in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
This video documentation is based on the workshop “Inclusive Picnic”, which emphasizes expression and dialogues of participants, who have individual ways of perceiving regardless of difference with and without disabilities, make use of their unique senses to interact with nature. It includes dialogues with texts, voices, sounds and gestures between project members and external professionals.
